Lexicon Group’s MILE – Management Institute for Leadership and Excellence, Pune is hosting National Marketing Symposium 2018 on Saturday, 6th October 2018 on the theme “RE-BRANDING INDIA – ROLE OF VARIOUS SECTORS IN CREATING BRAND INDIA. ”
The concept of measuring country’s global perception across various dimensions was developed by Simon Anholt in the year 2005. It is defined as Country branding Index or Nation branding Index.
Nation branding could be derived from its economic development, attracting tourism, exports, human capital, technological innovations etc. The contribution towards re-branding India can come from a personality, organization, business enterprise, academic, sports, culture and host of other sectors.
We see a resurgent India. The world has taken a note of the changing image of India. Today’s India is not reclusive but proactive, positive and participative in the world affairs. There are many contributors to this effect. Also, there are many sectors who have contributed in changing the face of India. This symposium endeavors to identify and understand through research, such sectors and how they have made an impact in changing the outlook of India at global level.
The objectives of the National Marketing Symposium are:
